I honestly just think that Kanye West is one of the most passionate people on the planet. Can you imagine if we all lived our lives with that much passion for everything we did? It would be awesome. Yeah, he hurts people's feelings… but no one ever wonders what he's about.

Nice take on it. I know the post doesn't necessarily directly relate to what happened at the VMA's. I just saw it as an opportunity to write about friendship. I agree that what happened was extremely UNfriendly and rude. One thing I think everyone can agree on is that passion can make people do some interesting things!

I definitely DO NOT agree with the way Kanye chose to do show his support to his friend but do think he had the best intentions.. But who knows, MTV could've orchestrated the whole thing?

OK … Sooo …. Porter Thumbs up to your side of the story. I totally agree that you make some great points about friendship and key lessons have definitly been leant from Kayne's lil outburst. My argument is that, yes, Kayne was just trying to be a good friend to Beyonce and felt he needed to state his opinion, but does a good friend include sticking up for someone by bringing someone else down? I think not, If he is such a great friend he would have thought it through a lil, even though we know thats next to impossible with Ye, and respected Beyonce's feeling and not publically emabarassing himself along with her. I can't imagine how that poor girl feels, but yes I will still listen to his music cause let's be honest he still is epic! but for me, my respect level for Ye has dropped just a bit and maybe next year whatever stunt he chooses to pull might make him gain it back from me…. A small props to him for apologizing, still don't know if it was legit. Out —>

Good insight. Definately agree with the quality over quantity part. True friends make life worthwhile. Shout outs to Kanye and T Swift.
