Hahaha awesome take on it. I agree absolutely agree that it's not for everyone BUT I have met two surf photographers in the past few years and they were both totally stoked about their work.

alright it is awesome job, if… you like to carry around about 50 lbs of equipment, which is hell getting through the airport, and if you like to watch other people surf while you sit around swatting flies and beating yourself up for a small pay check.

I read the surfing photographer blog. Awesome. I actually read all of them, But the surfing photography one is deff inspiring. Thats totally my new career plan, Think they teach surfing photography 101 in college? Haha.
